With the completion of the new Museum nan Eilean (Museum of the Islands) extension to Lews Castle a new brand identity family was required to express the full extent of the locations offer.
Inspiration was taken from the detailed Neo Gothic structure of the Castle itself in contrast to the sleek and contemporary new structure.
Considering the location as a gateway to the islands we created a modular family of fixed and flexible elements, contemporary colour palettes and typography expressed in a combination of English and Gaelic.
